To The Chase release When You Believed / The Return on April 17th
This April 17th, Hackney 3-piece To The Chase will release their brand new double A-side single When You Believed / The Return through Listen Close Records.
The single, taken from the forthcoming album Listen Close, was recorded at Chapel Studios by Ewan Davies (Kaiser Chiefs, Editors, The Maccabees) and, after advice on song arrangements from original Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, the band chose to take the production into their own hands and entrust mixing duties to Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Noisettes, The Enemy).
Talking of the release, lead singer and guitarist Aaron Kravitz said:
We’re totally hyped up about the first release. It’s the beginning, and we hope people enjoy listening to the tracks as much as we enjoyed making them. Their two very different, upbeat, feel-good, Indie / Soul tracks that we’ve chosen to show the variety in our music. It’s been an amazing year which started when we tracked down Ewan an Barney to help us produce a really raw sounding pop record with absolutely no label influence. Every track on the album sounds completely different from the last and we’ve got 8 more for you before the summer, welcome… To The Chase!
