The music, arts and culture metropolitan showcase which takes over the city from Thurs 19^th-Sat 21^st May has just announced Dev’s University Challenge.

The Radio 1 early morning presenter will be picking the best five university bands from all over the UK over the coming weeks, who can submit a max of 2 tracks to the LSC Soundcloud page. This is an amazing chance for the next wave of budding stars to perform at the UK’s leading urban festival and all part of LSC’s drive to find the stars of the future.

LSC is an inspiring and illuminating music, arts and cultural showcase, set across over 30 venues with well over 400 bands expected to perform which has already announced Cast, Black Lips, Jamie XX, Wave Machines, SBTRKT, Willy Mason and more, with further announcements to come. There’s lots more to be revealed, alongside a full conference with global keynote speakers addressing key issues facing the music industry, and a dedicated Youth Live programme which encourages the region’s young people into all facets of the music industry, from bands to technology.
