Follow debut UK and Ireland headline tour with release of Billboard Top 20 album ‘Black & White’ on March 28th on Sire / Action Records

Recent months have seen The Maine make substantial inroads towards making a major international breakthrough. Their second album and major label debut ‘Black & White’ hit the Billboard Top 20 and is now set to receive its first full UK release on March 28^th on Sire / Action Records. The album had initially been released exclusively via www.ukundercurrent.com.We’re trying to go for more of a raw feel – really just a free, loose record,” explains front man John O’Callaghan. Inspired by the classic sounds of American rock ‘n’ roll, the album is a collection of songs with universal, relatable themes that retain the band’s sense of youthful exuberance.

The album will be preceded by the release of the single ‘Inside of You’ on March 21^st.

Hailing from Tempe, Arizona, The Maine have been writing, recording and touring since they were barely out of high school. Already, they’ve sold over 200,000 albums, 500,000 digital singles and racked up 8.5 million views on YouTube. The quintet’s numerous high profile tours have included 2009’s Warped Tour as well as dates with Good Charlotte, Metro Station, All TimeLow, The Academy Is… and Boys Like Girls.

The quintet are confirmed to return to the UK and Ireland in March to step out as headliners in their own right after completing a sold-out co-headline tour with Mayday Parade that included two London dates at the Islington Academy. The tour, listed below, culminates with their biggest London show to date at Koko:
