The Hives and Floggin Molly @ Rock In Idrho 2011

After the announcement of two great headliners, Foo Fighters and Iggy and The Stooges, the bill of Rock in Idrho is enriched by the likes of The Hives and the legendary band Flogging Molly.
The Hives come back to Italy after a couple of years, dressed with white jacket and black shirt, their usual old fashioned look to present their new album, after the success of “Veni Vidi Vicious” and “Tyrannosaurus Hives”, set to be released next summer.
We are not told about its title and release date, but it will definitely be made of rock and soul echoes, a touch of new wave, and 70s punk with a final touch of r R’n’b, the original mark of this amazing band.
“Veni Vidi Vicious”gives the Swedish band the chance to be appreciated in UK and USA, now they are ready to come back with an explosion of rock ‘n’ roll at Rock in Idrho (Milan) on 15th June.
The other band who will join the festival is Flogging Molly, the best representative of the Irish aestethics inside the punk world. Their music, mixing punk and Irish folk is successful all over the world inheriting the tradition created by The Pogues.
They are set to release a new album in 2011, anticipated by the single “Don’t Shut ‘Em Down” already available on iTunes.
