Following a triumphant set of killer performances down under (including The Big Day Out Festival and their own sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney), Grinderman announce eight dates for 2011. Grinderman’s first European appearance this year will be on 26 May at Primavera Festival in Spain, full details below.

Palaces of Montezuma, the new single from Grinderman, will be released on 14 March 2011. The third single to be taken from the album Grinderman 2, Palaces of Montezuma will be available as a download and on 12’’ vinyl. Both formats include the original album version, a new single mix from producer Cenzo Townshend, and a remix by Barry Adamson. The single also contains a cover version of Grinderman’s When My Baby Comes by Faris Badwan’s new project Cat’s Eyes with Luke Tristram.
