Now-legendary London showcase eastern electrics returns for another event of jaw-dropping proportions.
Following on from the enormous success of the sold-out Back To The Tunnels – where mulletover, Bloc & Man Make Music rocked three rooms for a solid 10 hours at one of the events of 2010 – London’s favourite forward-thinking tastemakers are back. With a twist.
Joining the eastern electrics fold for the first time is Deviation, one of London’s most successful monthly club nights, where resident and Radio 1 Benji B rules the roost. Held on the first Wednesday of the month at Gramaphone London, Deviation invites special guests to play alongside Benji B & MC Judah with an impressive roster of established and breaking talent, including Theo Parrish, Flying Lotus, Skream, Martyn, Floating Points, Moodymann, Kode 9, Mala and Katy B to name a few.
They’ll be fresh from launching the festival season in March with their fifth annual event… the Bloc boys always bring the noise. With some of the most insightful booking, these guys know your next step even before you do.
Bloc’s eastern electrics NYE room hosted Matthew Dear, Joker, Roska and Instru:mental and the festival is a who’s who of electronic music new and old. The Bloc room is now a firm favourite with the ee faithful.
And finally party force mulletover – celebrating SEVEN years in April – Will once again be hosting a room, and promise to smash it to bits. Rob Star and Geddes’ baby, mulletover has hosted some of the capital’s biggest – and most obscure – parties in recent years. No space is too elusive for these renowned rave-makers. Having given us Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and the man himself, Geddes on NYE, lord only knows what they’ve got in store this May.
