Released today on Memphis Industries, ‘Buy Nothing Day’ is the first single to be pulled from The Go! Team’s upcoming new album ‘Rolling Blackouts’, which hits the streets next week.

Recorded by the Team at the tail end of ’09, the Brighton based boy girl sextet deliver a sun bleached slice of hyper girls-in-the-garage jangle, with Bethany of Best Coast bringing the Californian sun on lead vox. Blending Byrds style chiming guitars, girl gang vocals and topped off with a Theremin solo it’s an exhilarating, insanely catchy yet uniquely Go! Team rush.
On the flip side of the 7″ is a cover of Betty & Karen’s lost 60s girl group nugget I’m Not Satisfied featuring the vocal talents of French singer Soko
