Three Six Zero Group Announce Worldwide Partnership With Roc Nation

Three Six Zero Group are delighted to announce a worldwide partnership with Jay-Z-owned US entertainment giant Roc Nation.

Roc Nation says: “We are very excited about our new business relationship with Mark, Dean, Andy and the entire Three Six Zero Family. They have their finger on the pulse of the future of the music industry.”

Three Six Zero Group says: “We are very excited to be in partnership with Roc Nation, we have the same ethos and values and intend  the partnership to become something special.”

This long-term partnership will see Three Six Zero and Roc Nation working together on live, recording, sponsorship, television, film and merchandising activities, helping further to develop their artists’ careers in both the UK and the US, and connect with fans in new and creative ways.

Founded in 2007 by Mark Gillespie, Dean Wilson, and Andy RutherfordThree Six Zero’s first client was MySpace star Calvin Harris. Success soon flooded in with his debut album, ‘I Created Disco,’ which spawned two massive hits, including ‘Acceptable In The Eighties,’ and subsequent #1 smashes including ‘I’m Not Alone’ and the Dizzie Rascal collaboration ‘Dance Wiv Me’.

In 2009 Three Six Zero Group announced a worldwide partnership between their award-winning producer and electronic artist deadmau5 and EMI. Deadmau5 went on to become the first ever electronic artists to sell out Earl’s Court. At the same time, they launched acclaimed duo Hurts, who have scored a Top 5 gold-selling debut album, ‘Happiness,’ which was released last September. The Group also parachuted  a newly dancefloor-friendly Kelis into the Top 5 with her smash ‘Accapella’ and its parent album ‘Flesh Tone.’

And what about 2011? Key signings this year include legendary DJ and producer Sasha, who is launching a new label, BBC Sound of 2011 dubstep hopes NERO, Serge Santiago and Tom Neville’s Italo disco duo Retro/Grade, house hero Jamie Jones, Deadmau5 protégéFeed Me, Glaswegian-born Burns and epic alternative trio The Empire.
