Little Comets usher in another bout of first class indie pop with their stunning new release Joanna. With a sound that can be best compared to the likes of Vampire Weekend, this contagious tune will leave you at once relaxed and giddy. The track grabbed my attention from the moment it opened and held it throughout: the beautiful voice of lead singer Robert Coles melodically fluctuates over the jerky guitars with catchy lyrics that will infiltrate your mind. It is also worth mentioning that the video for this song is well worth a view, it is always a pleasure to see bands attempt to be inventive with the visuals supporting the music and the cinematic approach taken to this video is impressive.

Joanna had my finger twitching at the repeat button for hours and has remained on repeat in my head for days. This release has all the ingredients of a great indie tune and I expect that there is a lot more to come from this band!
