Mojo Fury Unveil Tour Details

| On 17, Jan 2011

A hidden gem that we've unearthed from Northern Ireland, we fully expect the name of MOJO FURY to be on many people's lips during 2011. The band have supported Biffy Clyro and Forward Russia at home; this year they toured the UK with Oceansize and Castrovalva, alongside shows with the the likes of Foxy Shazam, whilst releasing their debut single 'The Mann'.

Mojo Fury are just what you want from a modern rock band - riffs galore, vocal hooks to the brim, great songwriting, and a rhythm section that motors it down all the right paths - their feet dipped in the alternative side of "popular" rock music currently being rattled across by the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses and Future of the Left. The band have received radio play from Radio 1, Kerrang and XFM, TV play from Kerrang, Scuzz and Lava, and press support from Artrocker, Rock Sound and Total Guitar amongst others.

Second single 'Colour of the Bear' will be released Sunday 13th February 2011 on digital download. To coincide with this they will rip up the UK with BSM's Hold Your Horse Is on the following dates in February, with more dates to be added between those and upcoming festival appearances in the summer. Expect some intense live shows...

"A two minute ball-buster that is reminiscent of McLusky's jams (ie, angry men making indie punk)"
- Total Guitar Magazine

"The Mann makes for a catchy first single steeped in QOTSA-style hooks and howling vocals"
- Big Cheese Magazine

"They seem to use an arsenal of supersized riffs and big mamma drums to create heavyweight rock with ideas - think Rage Against the Machine gone slightly more UK hardcore."
- Artrocker.tv
