Say Something EP is the new offering from British electro/rock
producer Tom Wolfe, better known by his moniker The Polysonic.
Since taking up piano at the age of 5, Wolfe has always had a
passion for music. After playing in several rock bands, Wolfe started
creating music under the name The Polysonic in 2009 with the
intention of crossing his alternative roots with modern dance-based
genres. After spending a year demoing songs, playing around with
genres and developing his production techniques, Wolfe started
writing Say Something EP in April 2010.
From the atmospheric clean guitars and driving synth line of
The Sun to the blissfully euphoric and dark timbre of lead song
and title track Say Something, Wolfe has taken the greatest of
care in perfecting a soundscape to evoke emotion in the listener,
while still creating the urge to get up and dance.
Having achieved over 70,000 plays online, and gaining comparisons
to a diverse range of artists, from Daft Punk to Depeche Mode;
Pendulum to Nine Inch Nails – The Polysonic’s fan base is quickly
expanding. With the release of Say Something EP, The Polysonic
is without a doubt an artist to watch out for in the future
