ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN AND CARIBOU JOIN THE PROGRAMME OF THE POBLE ESPANYOL

One of the attractions of the opening day of the eleventh edition of San Miguel Primavera Sound, which will start on Wednesday 25th May in the Poble Espanyol, will be the mythical British band Echo & The Bunnymen with a concert in which they will play their first two records (“Crocodiles” and “Heaven Up Here”).

Daniel Snaith’s project Caribou has also joined the line up of this first day, before giving a second concert on the ATP stage as part of the main programme which will take place in the Parc del Fòrum site on the 26th, 27th and 28th May.

So, during the first day in the Poble Espanyol it will be possible to see Las Robertas, Nisennenmodai, Echo & The Bunnymen and Caribou, and on the closing day, which will be in the same place on Sunday 29th May, it will be the turn of Mercury Rev who will play Deserter´s Songs, BMX Bandits, Deakin, My Teenage Stride, The Vaccines and Me And The Bees.

CHANGE IN PRICE FOR THE FULL FESTIVAL TICKETS

Saturday 15th of January is the last day to buy full festival tickets for San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 at the price of 150 € (+ booking fee). From Sunday 16th January the tickets will cost 155 € (+ booking fee). This price will be valid until Friday 4th of February. On Saturday 5th of February the price will be € 170 (+ booking fee).

The sales points are Codetickets, Servicaixa, PayPal, Seetickets UK, Fnac France and the CD Drome shops.

The access to the concerts in the Poble Espanyol will be subject to the capacity of the venue. There are no age restrictions for the San Miguel Primavera Sound festival 2011 (apart from for some of the pre-festival concerts).
