BRIT Awards 2011: Nominations List

Tinie Tempah leads the way in the nominations for this year’s BRIT Awards, with four nods.

The British rapper has been shortlisted for British Male Solo Artist and Breakthrough Act.

His hit single ‘Pass Out’ is also a contender for British Single, while his debut LP ‘Disc-Overy’ is nominated for British Album Of The Year.

It will go up against Plan B’s ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks’, Take That’s ‘Progress’, Mumford & Sons ‘Sigh No More’ and ‘xx’ by The xx.

Other nominees include Robert Plant, Mark Ronson, Biffy Clyro and Gorillaz. There are also a number of international categories.

The ceremony takes place at London’s O2 Arena on February 15. It will be hosted by James Corden.
