In late 2008 singer-songwriter Paul Cook began cataloguing stories he heard.  Stories that he used to try to forget from people he used to try to avoid.  In run down bars, on buses and trains – in an out of date diary that had Big Star scratched into the cover.  ‘Tell me a story and I’ll write you a song.’  February 2011 sees the release of the first of these stories. ‘Six Places’ stands as a heartfelt and brutally honest opening salvo and the first in a quartet of releases by the project slated to come out during the course of 2011. Paul Cook and The Chronicles will be performing live around London during the coming months both as a five piece band and at solo acoustic shows.
