aaamusic | On 07, Jan 2011
The Gaymers Camden Crawl 2011 Tips series is back on Thursday January 27th with a line up bursting with electro-pop goodness. There’s no distinct holiday theme this time round – just a welcome evening off from the dreariness of January, with some great live music at The Bull & Gate.
Moving towards a more up-tempo feel from the December line-up, January’s bill will feature blissed out French multi-instrumentalist Anoraak and Worcester maverick Mat Motte (formerly of Mower), plus special guests yet to be announced.

Anoraak
CC: “French chillwave maestro Frédéric Rivière deals in piercing synths, nostalgic pop and a hefty dose of funk. Reminiscent of every summer you’ve ever spent in the sun, Anoraak is a breath of fresh air blown across the Channel to show you the light and get you dancing at the same time.”

Mat Motte
CC: “Former frontman of the indie-pop band Mower, Mat Motte has re-invented himself with a unique mix of old- skool hip-hop, punk rap and psychedelic funk. Born of a hundred nights in dark basements and a smattering of summertime – it needs to be heard to be believed but it is well worth a listen.”
