For those looking for some post-WHP afters action, it is the team behind the Store Street sessions themselves who have put together a series of party-till-dawn events, named Afterlife. With the 5th anniversary the most successful season yet, featuring over 30 sold out shows with some of the world’s best live talent and DJs, once more the WHP has captured the imaginations of all.
The Afterlife parties take place at the stunning newly refurbished South, designed by Ben Kelly, on King Street, Manchester. It was Ben who designed the original Hacienda, and he also created the look and feel of the re-launched 114 Paradise Street venue a few years ago in the city. His inspiring, unique and industrial designs create incredible club spaces, and the Funktion-One powered South is the perfect venue to hold some intimate late night sessions after the WHP.
Playing at Afterlife will be a host of WHP residents and some very special guests to be revealed each night.
There will be free coaches leaving the WHP from 4am.
Advance tickets are only £5 and are available from the below link, or alternatively can be bought from the merch stall in the venue. They are strictly limited so if you want to reserve your space better to get them online before the night.
These Afterlife sessions will continue on each major WHP night between now and the end of the season, culminating with the 5th season finale on New Year’s Day.
