The Isle of Wight Festival 2011 Announces More Top Acts!

The Isle of Wight Festival is proud to add an array of the hottest and most established artists around to the already impressive line up. Joining Pulp and headliners Foo Fighters on the main stage will be Iggy and the Stooges, Seasick Steve, Hurts, Stornoway and Lissie.

But that’s not all; over in the Big Top headlining Thursday June 9th will be the flamboyant Boy George, followed by a headline show from punk pioneer Joan Jett & The Blackhearts on Friday June 10th.  The Big Top will also host performances from Wild Beasts, The Vaccines and Semi Precious Weapons on Saturday June 11th, with the headline act still to be announced in the coming weeks. 2011 is an extra special year for the much loved Isle of Wight Festival as it celebrates its 10th birthday. Renowned for its eclectic and electric line-up, mixing iconic artists with up and coming acts to make a truly original festival, 2011 will be no exception.

Kings of Leon with more acts to be announced soon

Saturday June 11th: Foo Fighters, Pulp, Iggy and the Stooges, Seasick Steve, Hurts, Stornoway and Lissie

Sunday 12th June: Kasabian, Beady Eye, The Script, Plan B, Pixie Lott, Two Door Cinema Club, James Walsh, plus a special guest appearance from Jeff Beck
