Seefeel Stream New Album Track + Announce March Tour
Seminal band Seefeel have premiered a stream of a new album track plus announced details of a European tour in March 2011. Full info on the tour is below.
You can hear ‘Dead Guitars’ here, now
This is taken from the release of Seefeel’s new, eponymously-titled album, out on an earlier date of 31st January 2011 through Warp.
The track demonstrates the newfound intensity that the band have been displaying both in new material and at their recent live shows (a sold out headline show at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and a slot at Barbican supporting Michael Rother and friends playing the music of Neu!)
Of the shows, The Times said, “the sense-scouring intensity was hard to fault”, and Loud and Quietadded that the band “underpin their dream-glossed, loop-heavy soundscapes and tunes with a heavy powerhouse of a rhythm section. The show was punishingly loud; played with a professional politeness that skirted-over any ‘it’s great to be back’-bullshit.”
Further evidence of the reinvigoration of Seefeel can be found on 31st January, when the band not only release their first album for well over a decade but also celebrate with a special headline show atLondon’s King’s Place on the same day.
