hmvlive & MAMA Festivals present Next Big Thing featuring a Deconstruction night with Diagram of the Heart (live), Retro/Grade (live),Babydrum (live and DJ set), Burns (DJ set), Mike Pickering (DJ set) plus very special guests to be announced.
Retro/Grade are Serge Santiago and Tom Neville. One the most exciting and dynamic new dance acts around. Brilliant, off the wall italo house with ‘Midnight Express’ era Moroder leanings provide a musical tour de force. Recent single ‘Escape Sequence’ saw plays from Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, as well as praise from the likes of NME. This unique event will see them play alongside their labelmates and is a brilliant opportunity to see the latest acts signed to this cutting edge label.
Retro/Grade have already supported Groove Armada and Goldfrapp recently, and are currently in the studio working on their debut album, one that promises to unveil their full potential and crossover next year into the mainstream.
