Having sold out their previously announced gig at Madame JoJo’s on 20th January within 24 hours, electronic three piece Innerpartysystem have announced an additional date which will see them play a completely contrasting set at a Red Bull Records party. The event will take place at Corsica Studios in London from 9pm on 21st January and will include supporting sets from Adam Freeland, Darkstar and Untold.

Anticipation for the Corsica Studios event is high and Innerpartysystem are excited to be topping such a strong bill of artists with drummer/programmer Jared Piccone giving an indication of what’s to come:

“There are a lot of facets to what we’re doing now. We love where our music is going in the studio but feel like, at least for now, it’s impossible to get across in one show. Because of that we’ve added a second show at Corsica Studios on the 21st. This one will be more like the DJ sets we did early on at warehouse parties at home with some live elements and surprises thrown in and we’re excited to have Darkstar, Untold and Adam Freeland playing this party with us. Both shows will be unique but each will definitely melt faces. We can’t wait to get back to the UK! It’s been way too long…”

Innerpartysystem’s new single ‘American Trash’ will be officially released in the UK on 7th February, following the band’s live shows, and the tracklisting will include the original version along with remixes by Adam Freeland, Porter Robinson, Starkey, Newsfeed, and Bottom Of The Barrel.

Innerpartysystem’s unwavering resolve to create their own music and remix other well-known artists led to the recently set up Red Bull Records swooping down and snapping up the band to add to their burgeoning roster of new music talent. Jared clearly thinks Red Bull Records is a great fit for Innerpartysystem:

“It’s much less a label, rather than a group of friends that are all helping to push this project forward. Really, they hang out with us after shows, we exchange ridiculous email chains and geek out about futuristic lighting ideas that aren’t even possible yet. It’s everything we could’ve asked for in a label, plus the added bonus of making new great friends.”

Innerpartysystem’s previous trips to the UK have included a sold-out headline tour and performances at the likes of Wireless festival, Camden Crawl and Milton Keynes Bowl with Linkin Park and Pendulum. Fans and critics alike were wowed by the intense experience that is Innerpartysystem’s live show. Innerpartysystem are currently working on an EP for release early 2011 with an album to follow later in the year.
