Electric Elephant returns in 2011

Longer, better, earlier! That’s the plan for 2011’s Electric Elephant, the British-run, Croatian-hosted festival that, over the course of three phenomenally successful festivals, has put the Adriatic coast on the map as Europe’s friendliest party destination with the festival fixed as the jewel in Petrcane’s clubbing crown. Much more than just a festival, it’s a holiday adventure, an escape, a musical getaway, a meeting of like-minded souls that invokes the original spirit of the unspoilt Ibiza of the ‘70s and early ‘80s. Live love dance.
Returning for a fourth bash in 2011, Electric Elephant moves from its late summer slot to mid-July, where it’s been expanded to a five-day, five-night event that blurs the boundaries between festival and holiday. Electric Elephant is the place for sun, sea, boat parties, DJs, live music and club nights on the beautiful Adriatic coast.
With YO YO (longstanding Notting Hill Arts bash with Seb Chew and Leo Greensdale), Andrew Weatherall, Horse Meat Disco and Kelvin Andrews & Balearic Mike (responsible for the ace Down To The Sea & Back compilation) already confirmed to play captain and host boat parties next year. Along with the annual cruises from Electric Chair and Lowlife, the line-up is already looking tantalisingly good too.
Tickets are available now, priced at £85.00 for the full, five-night shebang.

Electric Elephant is held in a magical wooded peninsula nestled in the ancient coastal village of Petrcane, Croatia, in easy reach of Zadar airport. Situated on the sun-sparkled sea of the Adriatic, Petrcane boasts family-run restaurants, villas by the beach and independently owned small hotels and campsites.
Electric Elephant & Garden Festival – Double Whammy – Ticket £140
Electric Elephant and their good friends The Garden Festival have teamed up to offer a limited double whammy ticket for both full events with a hefty saving. It also provides the perfect opportunity for a weeklong relaxing recovery on the beach or to explore the stunning coast of Croatia in between the two festivals.
Garden Festival July 6th – 13th and Electric Elephant 14th – 18th
