“Some of the most beautiful tracks he has ever written” – The Sunday Times “His most soul-searching, heartstring-tugging and excellent tunes ever” – Mojo
Once again BADLY DRAWN BOY has produced a body of work that proves he is one of this country’s finest songsmiths. His latest album ‘It’s What I’m Thinking’ has left behind it a mass of outstanding reviews and a wealth of acclaim from respected radio and television like minded souls. His latest UK tour played in theatres across the country, was sold out the land over, and delivered some of the best gigs he has ever played. Damon Gough is a rare treasure in these times of sanctimonious pop culture and he just gets better and better.
Prior to the next single proper comes a 12” and download of the stunning 13 minute remix of Badly Drawn Boy’s ‘You Lied’ by The Seahawks, who have transformed the original album track with their trademark “cosmic discoid yacht rock”. The Seahawks vessel is manned by Jon Tye and Pete Fowler, two veteran sailors on the cosmic sea. Their recent 7” on Static Caravan quickly sold out and a series of 12”s on Captains Log followed suit. The remix of Badly Drawn Boy is out on a limited edition one sided, etched 12” (with exclusive artwork from Pete Fowler…and some even signed by him) onNovember 29th, and on download the day before.
Damon is also giving away a second free download EP –album track ‘This Electric’ plus 2 exclusive remixes.
