Continuing its odyssey into the rug-cutting realms of super-sick dancefloor damagers, A-Skillz’ lauded label Jam Cityhas lined up yet another perfect party rocker from acclaimed producers The CB’s. Following hard on the heels of Grinny Grandad’s The Good Girl, and picking up where they left off with the BBC 6 Music playlisted ‘Misdemeanour’, The CB’s drop ‘The Finding’ on November ??.

Propelled by classic on-the-one funk vibes, ‘The Finding’ sees the Cuban Brothers’ alter-egos laying down slinky clavi riffs and infectious Rocky-esque horn stabs all leading to a colossal chorus that can’t fail to hook you in. Featuring the honeyed harmonies of CB’s head honcho Mike Keat, ‘The Finding’ has been a firm festival favourite during the band’s summer sets.

As you’d expect from Jam City ‘The Finding’ boasts a hefty remix package that offers plenty more to discover kicking off with the Doorly Garage Rub. One of the club scene’s hottest properties, Doorly follows up his mixes for the likes ofDizzee Rascal, Basement Jaxx, The Prodigy, and Groove Armada, by ramping up the future garage action with staccato riffs and swinging beats all beefed-up with off-beam pads and heavy sub-love. Nu-funksters Bush Doctors take the original guitar lick, add a pounding four-to-the-floor to the break and amplify the mayhem to an ecstatic throb. Doorly returns on the Pigeon Hole This! Remix, this time with some truly brutal bass and off-kilter rhythms ensuring maximum floor pressure.

Channeling the undiluted spirit of old skool Italian beat freaks, Sunday Best’s secret weapon Fear of Theydon takes the reins for an Italo Dub with added arpeggio goodness and acres of class, whilst ‘Nu Funk’s very own Mr Midas’,Featurecast wraps things up with a truck full of block rocking’ boogie inducing attitude, that aims ‘The Finding’ squarely at the party.

Another full-fat funk monster courtesy of the CB’s and Jam City, ‘The Finding’ – the title track from the forthcoming Debut CB’s album – is released on 13 December 13 2010 on Jam City Records.
