Hugo Manuel turns Oxford clouds into Ibiza palm trees with its project Chad Valley and a fantastic EP of hypnagogic pop.

A new chill-wave hits music shores with a mix a dance beats, distant synths and Chad’s blissful voice. Chad Valley joins the ranks already filled by Neon Indian, Washed Out and Memory Tapes, but adds the elegance of a R&B touch that makes this EP irresistible.

Chad Valley is a return to future: samples from the eighties and atmospheres from the noughties blended with wisdom and insanity. Ensoniq Sound is a perfect example of this, and it is available below:
