Sheffield’s dynamic duo Slow Club have announced their biggest show to date at Shepherds Bush Empire on 18th May 2011.

Their highly acclaimed debut album on Moshi Moshi Records and a series of warmly received singles has seen Rebecca Taylor and Charles Watson accrue a very sizeable audience, resulting in sold out tours and headline shows at London’s Scala – and most recently Koko.

June’s sold out Koko show was a celebration of their harmonious partnership delivering a set packed with sweet melodic hooks, rockabilly beats and exuberant yelps and yips. It was also an opportunity to showcase material from their new album, the follow up to 2009’s ‘Yeah So’, and due for release in spring 2011.

Slow Club will headline Shepherds Bush Empire on 18th May with tickets on sale from Friday November 19th from the following link:

Meanwhile the duo will play a sold out show at the Union Chapel on 22nd December. The latest in their annual Xmas shows sees Slow Club joined by label mates The Wave Pictures – and Sweet Baboo. As tradition dictates expect snow – it did last year! – and some special guests on the night.

Slow Club’s debut album ‘Yeah So’ garnered outstanding reviews becoming one of Moshi Moshi’s most successful releases to date.
