Captain, the new single from Empress out on the November 22nd, is a killer combination of seductively sweet vocals and dark dance hooks.

Formed in 2009, Empress consist of Janee (Vocals), Charlie Westropp (Guitar), Ben Athey (Drums), Owen Taylor (Guitar) and John Stevens (Bass) together these guys have worked with Rob Davis, co-writer of Kylie’s ‘can’t get you out of my head’, Roll Deep, Wiley, Rude Nation, Dionne Bromfield and have even recorded at Olympic Studios where the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin all recorded.

Described by the guardian as having “a reputation for stage presence, charisma and tight playing that produces epic live performances” Empress do not disappoint. Not only are they super talented and seriously addictive, absolutely gorgeous doesn’t quite do them justice either!
