High Rankin brings Suicide Dub label-mate Evolve or Die into the fold on this new collaborative effort with Miami rhymes merchants Wizard Sleeve.

‘Lockdown’ is a simple tale – one of a man bounded down to an unwanted relationship. Of course, that makes this whole situation sound romantic – well, our boys have a different take on proceedings. High Rankin’s synonymous production is twinned with a wistful, chanson-based string ensemble whilst the Wizard Sleeve boys allow you to imagine the chase as they see it with their wantonly despicable lyrics.

Putting these precocious talents into a shared playpen for the first time was always going to lead to some uncontrollable mischief – but who knew being bad would be this much fun! Well…probably them.

High Rankin’s reputation has flourished of late, with recent release ‘Don’t Carry On Like A Rude Boy When Daddy’s Got A Yacht’ creating a viral flurry, ever-solid chart positions on Beatport and iTunes, signing to Windish in the US and securing his showcase slot at SXSW 2011. His label goes from strength to strength with recent investment from Absolute Marketing and Distribution.

With a few very special guests form a certain fruity dance studio on Sky 1.
