Japanese Voyeurs unveil video for ‘Milk Teeth’. Single out Nov 29th on Fiction

This week end London based alt rock quintet Japanese Voyeurs have unveiled the grotesque video for their new single ‘Milk Teeth’, which is released on November 29th through Fiction.
It’s the first single from their eagerly awaited debut album ‘Yolk’, due for release in early 2011 and drops during their UK tour supporting Rock Sound cover co-stars Young Guns – details below.
There is no explanation, no justification, but we defy you not to feel something stirring within yourself as the pummelling drums kick in and the lyrics come spewing out over psychotic riffs. ‘Milk Teeth’ is a beast, calling out for both your defiance and your embrace.
‘Yolk’ was recorded in a variety of studios across North America, over the spring with GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine/The Melvins/Jesus Lizard) in an isolated farmyard in the forests of Canada, and mixed by Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel/At The Drive-In) in the sweat of the Brooklyn summer. Veering from the softest caresses to the most brutal of attacks, you can feel not only the dichotomy between the seclusion of the Canadian wilderness and the strip bars of inner city New York, but the internal psychodrama that makes the record such a visceral experience.
Japanese Voyeurs released another album track, ‘Smother Me’, for free download last month.
