PURE REASON REVOLUTION – UK TOUR DECEMBER 2010

| On 07, Nov 2010

PURE REASON REVOLUTION will play three headlining UK shows in December to promote their just released new album, ‘Hammer And Anvil’.
The dates are as follows:

01.12 MANCHESTER   FAC251 The Factory
08.12 BIRMINGHAM   The Rainbow
09.12 LONDON    The Scala

The Scala event features three support acts: the hotly tipped Losers (Eddy Temple Morris and Tom Bellamy, formerly of Cooper Temple Clause),
The Last Republic and Clean Bandit. Advance tickets are just £10 including an option to purchase a DVD of Pure Reason Revolution’s set at half price.
Eddy Temple Morris is just one of a number of radio DJ’s to have aired a new remix of ‘Fight Fire’, the opening song on ‘Hammer And Anvil’, while
Tom Bellamy co-produced the album with band member Jon Courtney.

Fan and media reaction to ‘Hammer And Anvil’ has been hugely positive, with the band earning praise for their successful and highly individualistic
melding of progressive, electronic, industrial, rock and pop influences:

“Their best release yet. Another example of how to be individual and dynamic in 2010.”
CLASSIC ROCK
“Pop songs underpinned by brooding electronica, as if Scissor Sisters had wandered into the Torture Garden. Yet their love of Muse-style falsetto and
creamy harmonies bring out some deceptively pretty tunes lurking within the maelstrom. Intriguing.”

MOJO

“A full-on heart-pounding assault of great electro. The band have retained most of their heavy hooks to create a great crossover record.”
ROCK SOUND
“If you’ve been following the unpredictable path of this bold, innovative UK outfit so far, rest assured they have just secured your attention for the
next instalment.”
