Young Guns after the critical acclaimed debut album “All our kings are dead”, released the single Weight of the world. They are a good band with good songs, but they are not very original, their music is inspired by the pop-rock-punk movement created by Green Day, Blink 182 and carried on by My Chemical Romance and so on. The risk is to be confused with other bands and that’s not funny, so they have to search a more peculiar sound, maybe adding something electronic could be fine. That said their single works well, it’s based on the classic combination of fast guitar riffs and pounding drums, the lot is made epic by singer’s vocals accompanied by echoing choirs.

A live show should be very interesting to witness, I wish I could watch them right now.
