Chad Valley Release EP | AAA Music

Based in LA, NY and London Cascine, the lesser known younger sibling of influential Swedish label Service, is all set to make waves of its own. Building on Service’s intimate roster that has brought us the beauty of Jens Lekman and the obscure electro pop of The Tough Alliance, Cascine’s founder Jeff Bratton has described the inspiration behind the label as curating the “grandest mixtape.”
With Selebrities, Evan Voytas and Shine 2009 already under their wing, who better to add to the line up than Chad Valley? The brain child of Hugo Manuel, one sixth of Jonquil, Chad Valley’s eponymous EP is out on the 23rd of November. Warm, enveloping synths and 80s pop samples populate its gloriously hazy harmonies. Have a listen to ‘Ensoniq Funk’ whilst you wait to get your hands on the EP.
