AWOLNATION music video unveiled for ‘Burn It Down’

| On 22, Oct 2010

AWOLNATION’s new music video for lead EP-track ‘Burn It Down’ features a courtroom scenario like none that has ever been seen before. Frontman Aaron Bruno is on trial but conjures up ninjas, mermaids and astronauts to do battle in the explosive promo clip. DJ Samantha Ronson appears as ‘Judge Ronson’ before being transformed into a mannequin. Ronson also does a remix of the band’s track ‘Guilty Filthy Soul’ (featuring Wale) which will be featured on their forthcoming EP.

AWOLNATION will be hitting London town just in time for bonfire night in order to “Burn It Down” in a live setting. The various shows are set to be every bit as explosive as the band’s music video.

The incendiary live show will be visiting the following venues in Old London Towne:

November
2nd Old Blue Last  ( with Little Fish)
3rd Camden Town Barfly
5th Camden Town Koko Club NME ( with Happy Birthday)
6th Kings College ( with Chiddy Bang)

AWOLNATION will release their debut EP “Back From Earth”: on November 8th as a limited edition t shirt with a music download tag for the EP and available on all digital downloads.

The EP on Red Bull Records includes 4 AWOLNATION originals. Sail, Burn It Down, Guilty Filthy Soul, MF  and remixes of Guilty Filthy Soul by Samantha Ronson featuring Wale and Burn It Down by Innerpartysystem plus exclusive video content. The EP was mixed by Neil Pogue,  a Grammy award winner for his work with Outkast.

AWOLNATION have recently supported MGMT and Weezer in their native US, and are looking forward to setting the UK ablaze.

Says AWOLNATION mainman Aaron Bruno of the lead song “Burn It Down,” “If I am going  down in flames it’ll be my way. Why do it if you’re not going to do it all out”

AWOLNATION are ready to light the blue touch paper this November. Stand well back.
