After a highly successful tour with Maps And Atlases, we can now announce that Tall Ships will be headlining the Big Scary Monster Xmas tour Tall Ships, plus have just made their new EP available for pre-order.
Its been quite a year for the Brighton based three piece who have recently enjoyed support tours with Minus The Bear and Tubelord amongst others, and will soon set sail for Europe with 65 Days of Static. Back in March their debut EP was released and promptly sold out two and a half times over, before starting work on the follow-up, the brilliant ‘There Is Nothing But Chemistry Here’ (out October 25th), which is now available to pre-order from BSM (www.bsmrocks.com) and Blood And Biscuits (http://bloodandbiscuits.bigcartel.com/) with an exclusive, new t-shirt design. Opening track ‘Plate Tectonics’ can be streamed via myspace and you can download ‘Chemistry’ here.
Now in its 6th year, the Big Scary Monsters Christmas Tour has previously seen the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses, Meet Me In St Louis, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly and many others taking part, and provides the perfect way to see out another fine year of new music. Supporting Tall Ships will be Tangled Hair, featuring ex-members of Colour, who are gearing up for the release of their debut EP, due out in early 2011.
