Feeder set to head out on Tour in October | AAA Music
aaamusic | On 15, Oct 2010
FEEDER return after a triumphant summer which saw the release of the harder edged sounding album ‘Renegades’ and perform throughout the UK at festivals as varied as Sonisphere, V Festival, headlining Wakestock, Belladrum and The Big Weekend in Cardiff as well as six city tour of Japan.
The band head out their first tour since the album’s release later this month!
Feeder started 2010 with two undercover tours under the name of Renegades, performing new material which Grant Nicholas had written over the previous year. Unveiling a much rockier sound than the previous few Feeder records and with no pressure to perform the hits the shows gave the band the chance to rock out and unleash the energy they built their live reputation on. The subsequent ‘Renegades’ album received their best reviews in years (“Feeder return leaner and meaner”) and the spirit of the album even spilt over onto the artwork and videos (a balaclaved mystery girl adorned the album and appeared with not much on in the video for the title track single – it notched up over a million views).
After the sold out UK tour in October the band head to Europe then South Africa where they are headlining the Synergy Live Festival. 2011 takes the band back to Europe, and the five city SoundWave Festival in Australia.
