Alev Lenz’s Song for Sea is a beautiful little track. As understated as it is lovely, the track is defined by Lenz’s delicate (though nonetheless confident) vocals – the simple beats and riffs that accompany Lenz do make their presence known, though not enough so as to overwhelm the singer. It’s lucky then that Lenz’s voice is the kind you could listen to for hours and not grow tired of: unique, yes, but not too challenging either. The end result is a track that is definitely at ease with its own peacefulness, without skimping on the vital emotional element. Excellent.
