Billy Corgan played a new song in a Paris bookshop, and you can see video of the performance below.

The frontman was in the French capital last week (September 30) to promote his new book Chants Magnétiques, which he has co-written with Claire Fercak.

The song is called ‘Jesus Wants A Hit’, which Corgan revealed was only written “a few days ago”.

“I’d like to play a new, new, new song that I just wrote a few days ago”, he said. “So you’re the first people to hear this song, so when you go on the internet and say ‘this song sucked’, no good, you’ll never hear it again. So you have a very big responsibility to like this song.”

Playing acoustically, Corgan also performed a number of other songs including ‘In The Arms Of Sleep’, ‘To Sheila’, ‘A Stitch In Time’ and ‘Tonight, Tonight’, reports Spfc.org.
