Critically acclaimed Scottish outfit Broken Records have just announced a string of headline UK dates this November. Described by The Guardian as “…the UK’s answer to Arcade Fire”, Broken Records have recently supported The National and have built up a fervent live fan-base.
The newly announced tour heralds a change in line-up for Broken Records as Craig Ross joins the band on bass guitar, replacing Gill who, along with Arne, who has now left. Poetic frontman Jamie Sutherland embraced the new addition saying, “having Craig on board signals a new chapter for Broken Records. We can’t wait to get back on the road!”.
Broken Records release their second studio album Let Me Come Home on October 25th. Produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Delgados, Belle & Sebastian) and with artwork conceived by long-time 4AD collaborator Vaughan Oliver, Let Me Come Home will precede both the UK tour and the release of the first single to come from the new album, A Darkness Rises Up, on October 18th.
