Folk / pop singer Claudia Georgette has been making a name for herself recently on the London scene. With a style akin to the grace of Eliza Doolittle mixed with a sharp yet thoughtful lyrical sophistication similar to Kate Nash, Claudia has been winning the hearts and minds of fans, taste makers and promoters alike. Having just recorded the video for the track ‘Signet Ring’, Claudia has already caught the eye of the online blogging community; Almost Gold Recordings (home of Black Kids, Peter, Bjorn and John, Does It Offend You, Yeah! to name a few) commented on the video having “a more-literal-but-no-less-parodical stab at the Shoreditch lifestyle of many”.
‘Signet Ring’ has already been a huge success on Youtube and other social networks, gaining over 11,800 views in it’s first week and placing Claudia in the top 20 of the most viewed musicians in the UK.
On the live front, Claudia has had residencies at the Troubadour in Earls court, a string of nationwide gigs and a slot at this years Secret Garden Party.
