Nikita releases her debut single ‘Tonight’ October 4th. It’s the first single from her forthcoming debut album due early 2011 and you can see the video for it here.

Nikita (aka Pati Yang) is one of Poland’s most acclaimed electronic artists pushing the boundaries of trip hop and  releasing  a critically revered album in one of her former guises by the tender age of 18, her a beguiling beauty, sirenesque tones and joy of experimentation both music and the arts have earned her artistic acclaim, commercial success and tours including support for Depeche Mode.

Nikitas path in music hasn’t been the same as most pop starlets, take her last project for example as part of the Free Association where she worked with  David Holmes and her husband Stephen Hilton creating music for films such as Buffalo Soldiers, Out Of Sight, Oceans Eleven and Oceans Twelve.

Now the singer is spreading her wings and poised to release here first single entitled ‘Tonight’ the first release from her hotly anticipated debut album which she has been putting together with Joe Cross, the much in demand producer, responsible for not only The Sound Of Arrows but Hotly tipped band Hurts
