‘Body of Years’ is the latest single from Canadian based five-piece Mother Mother. Infused with snappy pop rhythms and quirky lyrics, the band’s own brand of indie pop is hardly ground breaking but it as is instantly contagious as it is assured and effortless. The plodding bass line, sombre riffs and howling riot grrl-esque vocal harmonies of chorus line of b-side ‘Touch Up’ are equally infectious.
