A gorgeous amalgam of mesmeric avant pop, housegaze and mutant R n’ B, Jason Friedman and Eleanore Everdell have created an album – and sound – unlike any other this year, as can be heard on their current single “Pigeons”, currently gaining considerable radio airplay with its deliciously addictive chorus and heartsick tale of restlessness and longing for escape.
