NUDE’s electronic homage to H17’s “Let Me Go”‏

NUDE, the German innovative electronic music ensemble who’s trademark sound celebrates the world of Breakbeat, Drum N Bass, BigBeat and Electro Punk,  have announced the September 6th release of a new recording of Heaven 17’s classic 1982 Top 40 UK hit single “Let Me Go.”

NUDE’s new recording, inspired by Heaven 17’s original, breaks into new music territory where the beats are big and the melodic hooks are infectious. The song will appear on NUDE’s forthcoming album “Basic Guerilla Moves” released in October 2010.

Four different mixes of NUDE’s “Let Me Go” are available digitally throughout Europe via all the top digital download sites including iTunes. NUDE’s forthcoming album “Basic Guerilla Moves” is the follow-up to their 2007 debut album “Black Box”.

The core members of NUDE consists of the creative heads – Isabelle Gernand (lead vocals), Georgie Weeratunga (electronics) and Marc Werner (electronics), all of whom are responsible for the programming, songwriting, vocals, dancing and promotional work behind the scenes.

With a Penthouse And Pavement nationwide UK tour that kicks off at the Edinburgh Picture House on November 22nd, Heaven 17’s music continues to be a big influence on a lot of today’s new artists. NUDE’s interpretation of “Let Me Go” embraces the original sentiment of Heaven 17’s classic, while their refreshing upbeat sound puts a completely different spin on the song that makes it relevant again.
