BATHS DEBUT UK TOUR
aaamusic | On 25, Aug 2010
Baths, aka L.A. music-maker Will Wiesenfeld is set to hit the UK for the first time with shows playing the brilliantly-received ‘Cerulean’ – an often warm, acoustic-fueled electronic music that hews close to the work of contemporaries like Toro Y Moi with lush melodies, ghostly choirs, playful instrumentation and stuttering beats.
“Picture beautiful, sun-kissed harmonics wrestling in a hot tub on top of the Hollywood Hills” DAZED & CONFUSED
“Pulsing synths a la Walls, distorted but sweet vocals in the vein of How To Dress Well and richly acoustic folktronica arrangements are only part of the story… a satisfyingly polychromatic treat” NME
“Will Wiesenfeld warps electronica, from ambient fuzz to glitchy R&B in a manner akin to fellow Los Angelean Daedelus” Q
