Having last week played their final show together before returning to the studio to record their second EP for Communion Records (the label run by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett and friend Kev Jones), Matthew & The Atlas have left us with a rather-special departing gift: a beautiful video for their track ‘Within The Rose‘.

Featuring live performance from Matthew Hegarty (Matt to his friends, Matthew & The Atlas with his friends) and some rather sweet animation, it can be viewed here now:

‘Within The Rose’ was a track featured on Matthew & The Atlas’ debut EP ‘To The North’ which was released in the spring. Matthew & The Atlas are confirmed as support on the Mumford & Sons UK October tour alongside Johnny Flynn.
