Kings Of Leon could be set to release a new album in October.

According to DirectCurrentMusic.com, the group’s record label RCA have issued a release schedule which states the Nashville band’s fifth LP is due out on October 19.

Neither the group or label have officially confirmed the date yet, although Caleb Followill and co did recently admit they would \”play the whole of our new album live if it was up to us\”.

As previously reported, the as-yet untitled follow-up to 2008’s ‘Only By The Night’ will have a \”chilled out\” and \”beach-y\” feel, while the band have been showcasing a number of new songs live including ‘Southbound’, ‘Immortals’ and ‘Radioactive’.

Kings Of Leon will embark on a tour of the US in August and September, plus will also headline this year’s V festival
