Belle & Sebastian have announced details of an upcoming tour of the UK.

Kicking off in Gateshead on December 5, the group will finish the jaunt with a show in Glasgow on December 21.

As previously reported, the band were recently in the “final stages” of recording their as-yet untitled new album in Los Angeles, plus will embark on a tour of North America in September.

Meanwhile, Belle & Sebastian will curate their own ATP festival on December 10-12 in Minehead, featuring the likes of Teenage Fanclub and Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan.

Belle & Sebastian will play the following dates:

Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 23) at 9am (BST).
