To conclude our yearlong celebrations of 10 Years of ATP, GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR will be the curators of our Weekend 1 Nightmare Before Christmas festival this December. The festival weekend will run from the 3rd-5th December at Butlins Holiday Centre, Minehead featuring around 40 bands picked by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, who will also perform. To join recent lineup additions including CLUSTER, CHARLEMAGNE PALESTINE and KEIJI HAINO, today we can confirm the additions of:

Michael Rother brings NEU! music to In Between Days curated by AMOS, 6th – 9th December at Butlins Minehead

If you are planning to come to both December ATP weekends, or wish to stay on after weekend 1 (or come early to weekend 2!) or indeed if you’re not coming to our Xmas festivals at all we have limited availability for people to stay on site during the week in between. This year In Between Days is curated by vinyl toy designers AMOS. During the event the small Crazy Horse venue will be open and we’ll be putting on entertainment including bands and djs.

A fantastic new addition to the line-up is:

HALLOGALLO 2010 (MICHAEL ROTHER & FRIENDS PRESENT NEU! MUSIC)

Hallogallo is a group formed by Michael Rother (frontman of the mythical Neu! and Harmonia, and member of one of the first formations of Kraftwerk), Steve Shelley (drummer of Sonic Youth), Aaron Mullan (from the New York band Tall Firs and collaborator of people like Chris Corsano) and Ben Curtis (of Secret Machines & School of Seven Bells). This group are currently playing a small number live shows in which they perform the highly influential music of Neu!

The line-up so far looks like this:

With more bands, DJs and other activities to be announced. In Between Days will cost £100 per person for the four nights, and is available as a 4 berth self-catering chalet. If you book a 4 berth self-catering apartment for both weekends you will be able to stay in the same apartment.

Apartments are to be charged at £400 for four people for the four days. If you only have 2 people in your party who wish to stay, we can place you in a share-a-chalet for the 4 days with another 2 people, so you don’t have to pay for the empty beds; email us at feedback@atpfestival.com to book.

To finish our yearlong celebrations of 10 Years of ATP, we are thrilled to bring back the event that started it all. In 1999 Belle & Sebastian curated The Bowlie Weekender, the event that became All Tomorrow’s Parties, and this December they will return to headline and curate Bowlie 2 from the 10^th – 12^th December at Butlins Holiday Centre, Minehead.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Butlins, Minehead looks out across a superb sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a cinema, Splash Water World – a sub-tropical environment that has a huge wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride – Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.

Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 berths and offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. (£165 + booking fee per ticket)

Self Catering accommodation is available in 4, 6 and 7 berths and offers private bathroom, full

kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. (£175 + booking fee per ticket)

Please note for In Between Days some of the facilities mentioned above may not be available, and Accommodation is only available as a 4 berth Self Catered.
