Beef Warehouse – DJ’s
1. When you think of Latitude what 5 words spring to mind?
Andy: Fun, friendly and frequently debauched
David: Utopia, Sextent, Blimey, Culture and must remember to return those 20 cups in my kitchen.
2. If you could only see one performance at this year’s festival what would it be?
Definitely Charlotte Gainsbourg – although I’m on an annoying little register that stops me from being within 50ft of her. According to the authorities, I love her a little too much.
David: Black Mountain deliver me from this mortal coil.
3. What 5 items will you be bringing to Latitude?
Andy: About 500 records, a selection of quality bush meats, a military bell tent, two children and a trolley to shift it all from the car park.
Dave: About 5000 records of which about 5 will actually be suitable, and Andy to take them all from the car park while I flail around in a rabbit hole.
4. Do you have anything special planed for your performance at Latitude?
Andy: We’re hosting the official 5th Birthday Party on the ‘In The Woods’ stage on the Thursday night, so there will a lot of party games, dressing up and hopefully a stage invasion to get hold of the massive birthday cake we’ve commissioned.
David: Just had an email from a Latitude regular who works at a tailors on savile row, he said can he make us tails…. I said maybe capes… How about Capes (with Tails).
5. Latitude is 5 years old, how did you celebrate your fifth birthday?
Andy: I had a party in my parents’ garden. My mum baked a cake in the shape of an aircraft carrier and a girl called Karen Clarke split her ill-advised satin trousers.
David: I invited the school to the local church and mercilessly went through their presents while they trashed the balloons and 1970’s style batman cake, my parents had lovingly put together – little cunts the lot of us.

We’ll try to make something of it. We plan to expand our live show into a greater experience soon anyway. So hopefully we’ll be ready for Latitude.
5. Latitude is 5 years old, how did you celebrate your fifth birthday?
I honestly cannot recall. Probably had cake somewhere along the line. Actually, I do remember getting a load of school-related loot, as it was my first-ever day at school about three days later. I got a colourful satchel and a pop up book detailing the dangers of talking to strangers.
