Adam Parker New Single

This summer will see Adam Parker release his debut single ‘Oh My’ on Stray Cat Records on 2nd August.
The track tells a tale of an unexpected sexy encounter with a wistful and thoughtful remembrance layered with tempered guitar hooks and electronic loops. A seamless amalgam of classic singer songwriter sensibilities, indie hook catch ability and the weathered soul of a troubadour, this is intelligent music-making with impeccably high standards and the occasional tongue and cheek humour.
It has been an organic rise for this London based singer/songwriter. Adam Parker first burst onto the music scene in the US back in 2008 after acclaimed house DJ Sasha heard a few tracks from his forthcoming album ‘Call Me A Medic’. Sasha instantly got in touch about featuring a remix of Adam’s track ‘Highlife’ on the DJ’s ‘Invol2ver’ album.
With the collaboration success, ‘Highlife’ received plays across numerous stations in the States and his My Space demos soon came to the attention of prominent DJ Jason Eldredge who championed his music at KCRW & East Village Radio. The impact was dramatic his My Space plays catapulted to nearly 3 million and propelled him into the top 3 of their unsigned artist chart.
Adam has just finished recording his debut album in Denmark and London with producer and 2009 Grammy Nominee, Dyre Gormsen (for Jason Mraz’s album ‘We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things). His debut album ‘Call Me A Medic’ will be released later this year.
Oh My will be available digitally to buy on iTunes from 2nd August.
