Anathema comes from a selection of Metal, Goth crossbreeds like Paradise Lost they have gathered a huge fanbase from over the years and like their counterparts they also come from the UK.
While other bands in the doom genre have stuck to their roots, Anathema have stayed on the same monotone and this makes them rather boring and the new album in no exception you try to get into it but are left totally unsatisfied and you feel you could have done something much better with 45 minutes than listen to this dribble; it has no redeeming features on the album. The musicians are all really talented and you think they could have done something much better than releasing an album which is less doom and more symphonic without the big explosions or any get up; and go if you want a chilled album so many people do it so much better bland is the Word.
